Meth, Guns Found On Man In Parking Lot: Police

Police said a 35-year-old Michigan man was found with methamphetamine and two firearms during a traffic stop last week.

NEW LENOX, IL -- New Lenox police arrested a man from Michigan after they stopped him in a parking lot last Thursday.

Joshua J. Clover, 35, was stopped at 3:44 a.m. in the 300 block of Veterans Parkway on Aug. 17 when an officer on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot, according to a police report.

The officer approached the vehicle and found Clover to be in possession of methamphetamine and two firearms, the report stated.

Clover, of Muir, Michigan, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm/ammunition.
