Missing New Lenox Woman Found Dead In Frankfort
The body of Nicole Homer was found Friday afternoon in Frankfort.

FRANKFORT, IL — The body of 50-year-old Nicole Homer of New Lenox, who had been missing since Sunday, was found early Friday afternoon in nearby Frankfort.
New Lenox police alerted media "with much sadness" just after 3 p.m. that Homer's body was found near Lagrange Road and St. Francis Road in Frankfort. There were no signs of trauma or any indication of foul play, according to police.
The cause of death is pending an autopsy.

Previous reports indicated Homer was last seen at her residence in the 900 Block of Karen Lane in New Lenox on Sunday and left in her vehicle, a 2001 Lexus 300. She suffered from a bipolar disorder and did not have her medication when she left.
