New Lenox Has 6 New Police Officers
New Lenox's newest six police officers attended this week's Village Board meeting.

NEW LENOX, IL - The New Lenox Police Department has completed its hiring process, bringing the village police department back to full capacity. On Monday night, the New Lenox Village Board welcomed the last piece of the puzzle, Officer Thomas Lynch. He joins New Lenox after working as a police officer the past three years at the Addison Police Department. According to New Lenox, Lynch grew up in the Frankfort area and has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Saint Xavier University.
At Monday's meeting, the village board also had an opportunity to meet New Lenox's other five recent recruits. The six new additions bring New Lenox up to 37 sworn police officers.
