New Lenox Library Announces Reopening
Hours starting July 13 will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Public Library has announced it will reopen to the public on July 13. Hours starting July 13 will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
"We appreciate our patrons' ongoing patience as we made plans to safely reopen. These preparations included staff training, acquiring sufficient PPE, and restarting circulation/quarantine of materials," the library said on its Facebook page.
Curbside pick-up at the library will still be offered for those who don't want to enter the building. According to the library FAQ page, masks will be required to enter the building, and returned materials will be quarantined for three days after they've been returned.

Buildings will also be sanitized and disinfected daily, and Plexiglas shields have been installed between staff and patrons at service points.
All summer programming and the summer learning challenge continue to be held online.
