New Lenox Library Creates First Storybook Walk

The storybook walk begins at the light post nearest the library and follows around the Commons.

NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Public Library has created its first storybook walk at the New Lenox commons. According to the library Facebook page, the walk features "How to Catch a Yeti" by Adam Wallace and Andy Elkerton.

The library said the walk takes you on a hunt for a yeti, and it begins at the light post nearest the library and follows around the Commons.

A storybook walk includes a story being told on signs along a specific trail or path. In a comment on its Facebook, the library said it hopes to change the stories along the walk at least seasonally.
