New Lenox, Orland Park Healing Centers Offer Teletherapy

NEW LENOX, IL — In the challenging times caused by the coronavirus, many people may find their mental health is suffering. Many mental health services and therapy offices are providing teletherapy during this time, including all three Healing Center locations in Orland Park and New Lenox.

The Healing Center at Silver Lake Gardens, 15127 S. 73rd Ave., suite C, Orland Park; Healing Center for Adults, 1500 Ravinia Place, Orland Park; and Healing Center for Behavioral Health, 1005 Laraway Road, suite 230, in New Lenox; are all providing services via teletherapy.

"We are all experiencing some level of stress about what is happening in the world and our new routines," owner Shelley Skas said. "During this time of social distancing we want you to know you are not alone."

Skas said the locations offer several different services for both children and adults. For children, the locations offer therapy for ADHD, adjustment disorder, anxiety, anger management, coping skills, depression, panic attacks, social skills and much more. For adults, therapy is offered for ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, quarantined parenting, PTSD and much more.
