New Lenox Police Bust Daniel Eason, Indiana Man, On Felony DUI

Daniel Eason, 60, of Indianapolis was also driving on a suspended license, according to New Lenox police.

NEW LENOX, IL - A 60-year-old Indianapolis man finds himself in the Will County jail after being stopped over the weekend by the New Lenox Police Department. Jail logs reflect that Daniel Eason faces a felony criminal charge of aggravated DUI-3rd as well as misdemeanor crimes of DUI and driving under a suspended license. He also faces a traffic citation for driving more than 35 mph above the posted speed limit, jail records indicate.

According to New Lenox police officials, a patrol officer saw Eason speeding on Village Station Boulevard around 12:45 a.m. Sunday. "The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, Eason, was under the influence of alcohol," New Lenox police reports show. "The officer further learned that Eason had a suspended driver's license."

Eason was booked into Will County lockup at 2:59 a.m. Sunday. On Monday morning, Eason remained in custody. He is expected to go before a judge on Monday afternoon to have his bond set.
