New Lenox Police Nab Alleged Heroin Dealer in Walgreens Parking Lot
The 56-year-old man had 10 bags of what is believed to be heroin in his possession at the time of his arrest.

New Lenox police Monday stopped an alleged heroin deal in progress in the parking lot of Walgreens at Harlem and Route 30 in Frankfort.
Tony Watts, 56, of 3040 Chicago Rd. in South Chicago Heights, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and possession of drug equipment, after a weeks-long investigation into drug activity in the Lincoln-way area, New Lenox police said Tuesday in a release.
Police recovered 10 bags of suspected heroin from Watts. The investigation developed information for a search warrant to be issued at Watt’s residence. New Lenox police executed the search, which revealed 19 grams of suspected Heroin, 31 individual packaged bags of suspected Heroin, drug equipment and distribution paraphernalia—approximately 21 grams in total.

Watts was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility pending a bond hearing.
