New Lenox Woman Charged with Retail Theft at WalMart: Cops

Two cars were keyed in New Lenox recently, one of them while parked at Target.

Criminal Damage to Property

A victim reported at 9 a.m. on Feb. 14 that an unknown person keyed their vehicle while it was parked in an apartment building parking lot in the 1200 block of Towncrest Drive.

A victim reported at 7:04 p.m. on Feb. 14 that an unknown person keyed their vehicle while it was parked in the Target parking lot.

Driving While License Suspended/Outstanding Warrant

Frank S. Glowacki, 67, Mokena was charged with driving while license suspended and on an outstanding warrant at 10:26 a.m. on Feb. 16 at Maple Road and Silver Cross Boulevard. An officer conducted a random registration check on a vehicle and learned that the owner had a suspended driver’s license.

Theft

Someone at the Lincoln-Way Special Recreation Center in the 1900 block of Heatherway Drive at 10:27 a.m. on Feb. 16 reported that an IPad was stolen from an office.

Someone at the LA Fitness in the 2400 block of E. Lincoln Highway reported than an unknown person stole their wallet from the basketball court area at 12:23 p.m. on Feb. 19.

Retail Theft

Margaret L. Harper, 51, of the 600 block of Old Hickory was charged with retail theft at 3:15 p.m. on Feb. 7 at the WalMart at 501 E. Lincoln Highway. Harper was stopped exiting the store with items that she did not pay for.
