New Lenox Mishap Involves Horse Trailer: Report
The Joliet Herald-News reported that the incident occurred on Francis Road on Sunday afternoon.
NEW LENOX, IL - The Will County Sheriff's Department responded to a call involving a detached trailer carrying a horse, the Joliet Herald-News reported on Sunday. The Joliet newspaper spoke with Will County Sheriff's officials who indicated that the incident happened on Sunday afternoon along Francis Road. The vehicle that was pulling a trailer with a horse became detached, causing the trailer to end up in a ditch, the paper reported. Police and firefighters responded to New Lenox Township to try to free the horse, who apparently was not injured.
