New Lenox's Christmas In The Commons Just Days Away

NEW LENOX, IL - People around New Lenox look forward to the annual village's annual Christmas in the Commons event and this year's event is just around the corner. Christmas in the Commons returns this coming Sunday, December 3. And there's something new.

"The Village of New Lenox is excited to be adding a new holiday market to our Christmas in the Commons festivities. With a synthetic ice skating rink, a spectacular display of lights, hot cocoa for sale, and the chance to drop letters in Santa's mailbox, the market will add a fitting and welcome touch to the holiday experience in the Village Commons," the village website proclaims.

The market will be open this Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
