NL VFW Post 9545 awards $7,500.00 in Scholarships to Local Seniors.

Helping our young people continue with their education.

At the Post Membership regular monthly meeting, on April 20, 2022, Harry E. VFW Post 9545, New Lenox, IL, awarded $5,000.00 in Scholarship funds to 5 deserving Seniors from Lincoln-Way Central, and Lincoln-Way West. These 5 students who are relatives of Members of Post 9545 each received $1,000.00 from the Membership. They are all attending College in the fall, and it was a pleasure to award them.

VFW Post 9545 Auxiliary awarded each a Scholarship of $500.00 as well to help them in their future educational needs.
