Saturday, August 21, 2021, Post 9545 will host the First Council of Administration Meeting for the State VFW. Following will be "The Joint Homecoming" for the Newly elected 2021-2022 State of Illinois Commander Bobby "Chief" Welch and State of Illinois Auxiliary President Rhonda Borkgren.

Also attending will be National VFW Commander - in - Chief Matthew "Fritz" Mihelcic, a member of VFW Post 2698 in Sparta, Illinois.

Post 9545 is honored to be chosen to host this event.
