Over 2,000 Still Without Power In New Lenox Area
1,303 New Lenox residents are affected and 1,180 New Lenox Township residents have no power.
NEW LENOX, IL — Over 2,000 residents of New Lenox or New Lenox Township remain without power over 24 hours after Monday's storms. According to the ComEd outage map, 1,303 New Lenox residents are affected and 1,180 New Lenox Township residents have no power.
There are still 46 outages reported across New Lenox. There are several outages reported off of Cedar Road, near Martino Junior High School, but are also scattered throughout the town. ComEd lists most of the outage as a status of "additional crews required."
An exact restoration time is not known, although ComEd lists it at 3 p.m. Saturday.
