Over 40 Military Veterans Attended Free Breakfast

If it’s the last Monday of the month, it must be time for the veterans to gather for the monthly free Veterans breakfast co-sponsored each month by New Lenox State Farm agent Kevin Molloy and his team, and Gina Buck, the owner of the Teardrop Café and her staff.

Over forty veterans gathered on Monday, Sept. 24 to enjoy conversation and the wonderful breakfast put out by Gina’s Teardrop Café.

“We couldn’t be happier with how this has grown from seven people our first month in January to where we are today,” commented Gina Buck. “Kevin and I began planning this in November of 2017 and were hoping it would get this big and a turnout like today warms out hearts.

If you’re a veteran and want to come out and visit with other veterans and share some old stories over breakfast, the next event will be Monday October 29, 2018 from 6:30-8:00 am at Gina’ Teardrop Café, 826 W. Laraway Road, New Lenox.
