Over 8,000 Without Power In New Lenox After Storms

There are 26 outages reported across the town, affecting about 50 percent of ComEd customers.

NEW LENOX, IL — Reports of damage and downed branches and trees have come in from across the south suburbs after severe storms moved across the area Monday. According to the ComEd outage map, over 8,000 people are without power in the New Lenox area.

In New Lenox, 6,010 are without power and in New Lenox Township, 2,221 have been affected. There are 26 outages reported across the town, affecting about 50 percent of ComEd customers.
