• Mom 'invested' in Clancy trial killed her own son: Police (lawandcrime.com) — A 2-year-old boy from nearby Frankfort was rushed to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, where he was pronounced dead after police say his mother allegedly killed him in their home. Authorities describe a neighbor's desperate CPR attempt, a possible psychotic episode, and serious murder charges, while three other children in the family were found unharmed.
