• New Lenox fire station temporarily closing (shawlocal.com) — New Lenox residents should know that Fire Station 2 on North Cedar Road will be closed Monday through Wednesday for a power switchover after renovations, with crews temporarily operating from Station 1 on Maple Street. Officials say 911 service and emergency response throughout the district will continue uninterrupted, and they're asking for patience while the work is completed.
