PHOTO GALLERY: Ride for Wounded Warriors
The New Lenox Village Commons was packed with supporters and their motorcycles to honor our military's wounded veterans and fallen soldiers.
Before hitting the road for a motorcycle ride from the New Lenox to the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetary, members of the Wounded Warrior Project started the day with a pancake breakfast.
About 1,800 riders and members of the community turned out to raise money for wounded veterans.
"This is a big show of support" said Don Pannier, who lost his son, Phillip J. Pannier, and who heads the Fallen Heroes Traveling Memorial Wall.
