Printer Stolen From Open Garage In New Lenox: Cops

Police in New Lenox arrested three people for driving under the influence over the past week.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrets is not an indication of guilt.

Burglary to Motor Vehicles

An officer was dispatched to the 2000 - 2100 blocks of Finborough Circle at 9:32 a.m. on Aug. 28 in reference to a complaint of a burglary to motor vehicles. The complainant advised that an unknown person went into the vehicle without permission, nothing reported missing in first two and U.S. Currency and prescription medication missing in the other.

An officer was on patrol and was approached in reference to a complaint of a burglary to motor vehicle in the 700 block of Downing Street at 9:54 a.m. on Aug. 28. The complainant advised that an unknown person went into the vehicle without permission, taking a backpack.

Theft

An officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of Ginger Lane at 7:10 p.m. on Aug. 28 in reference to a complaint of a theft. The complainant advised that an
unknown offender(s) stole a printer from the open garage.

DUI

Patrick C. McCleary, 26, of the 300 block of Rossford Lane was stopped at Route 30 and I-80 in New Lenox at 12:46 a.m. on Aug. 29 and charged with speeding and DUI. An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle speeding. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, McCleary, was under the influence of alcohol.

Brian J. Hurley, 42, Chicago was stopped at Route 30 ad Tonell Avenue at 12:23 a.m. on Aug. 31 and charged with speeding and a DUI. An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle speeding. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, Hurley, was under the influence of alcohol.

Sean D. Clifford, 31, Naperville was stopped at Route 30 and Cedar Road at 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 4 and charged with speeding, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and a DUI. An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle speeding along with other traffic violations. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, Clifford, was under the influence of alcohol.

Criminal Damage to Property

An officer was dispatched to the 30 block of Warren Ave. at 12:25 p.m. on Sept. 1 in reference to a complaint of criminal damage to property. The complainant advised that an unknown person(s) damaged the fence.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Central Road at 12:49 p.m. on Sept. 1 in reference to a complaint of criminal damage to property. The complainant advised that an unknown person(s) damaged the landscape decorations.

Aggravated Battery

Edgar Budrevicius, 25, of the 100 block of Forest Street was charged with aggravated battery at 4:06 p.m. on Sept. 1 in the 600 block of Maple Road. An officer was dispatched in reference to a complaint of battery. The complainant
advised that the offender struck him in the head. Officers located the offender, Budrevicius, who was identified by the victim as the person who struck him.
