Providence Hires 2 Alums To Advancement Team
Kathleen Kennedy will be the school's director of communications and Vince Ambrose will be the assistant director of enrollment.

NEW LENOX, IL - Providence Catholic High School recently announced the hiring of two recent alums to fill out open positions on its advancement team. Kathleen Kennedy, a 2011 PCHS grad, has been tapped to be the school's next director of communications while Vince Ambrose, a 2013 Providence alum, will be the assistant director of student enrollment.
"We are excited for the addition of Kathleen and Vince to our dynamic advancement team. They bring skill and enthusiasm to their roles and we are confident their contributions will help us reach our goals in the upcoming school year and beyond," said Ed Barrett, director of institutional advancement at the school.
Kennedy has interned for the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals and ESPN and has already made career stops at CBS Radio in St. Louis and St. Louis Magazine.

"It's great to finally be home," she said. "I am thrilled to be back at Providence, I look forward to contributing to the Advancement team with creative marketing ideas which will enhance the schools image and community."
As director of communications, Kennedy will be responsible for the school's overall communications strategy, including branding/co-branding, public relations, web presence and social media strategies that advance program priorities and enhance the impact and image of Providence Catholic, according to a news release from the school. She will also be making an impact within the athletic department as the assistant women's tennis coach.

As the assistant director of enrollment, Ambrose will assist with enrollment, admissions and retention for PCHS. He will provide support during all admissions and recruitment events throughout the year and will also serve as a football and wrestling coach.
"It is my second home, I am happy to be a part of the staff and continue to contribute to the great community that is Providence Catholic," Ambrose said. "As a coach, I have spent most of my time at Providence helping students better themselves spiritually, academically, and athletically."
