Punks In New Lenox Club A Few Mailboxes For Kicks
Police took three reports of mailbox damage, plus two cars had their rear windows smashed.

NEW LENOX, IL - For some, the teenage years can be a time of anger, confusion and rebellion. And around New Lenox, some area youths recently decided to take out their life's frustrations against the mailboxes belonging to a handful of homeowners they probably don't even know. On November 16, New Lenox police officers were summoned to the 700 blocks of Brockwood, Sojourn and Amanda. The vandalism was reported around 2:35 a.m.
There were at least three reported incidents of mail boxes that sustained damage, police reports indicate. The victim who alerted the police to the damage had no idea who may have committed the crime.
The vandalism remains under the investigation.
