Purse Stolen From Car Parked At Sport Clips: Cops
Two cartons of Newport cigarettes were stolen from the Speedway gas station in New Lenox.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Theft
An officer was dispatched to Jewel, 2021 E. Laraway Road at 10:25 a.m. on Sept. 25 in reference to a theft. The complainant advised that a wiper blade and wiper blade arm were stolen from their vehicle while they were inside the store.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Forest Avenue at 8:56 a.m. on Sept. 28 in reference to a theft. The complainant was advised that a package was delivered to their home. The package was gone prior to their arrival.
An officer was dispatched to Sports Clips, 420 E. Lincoln Highway at 6 p.m. on Oct. 1 in reference to a theft of purse. The complainant advised that a purse was stolen from their vehicle while parked at the business. The complainant advised that their credit cards were then used fraudulently to make unauthorized purchases at various stores.

An officer was dispatched to Speedway Gas Station, 800 W. Lincoln Highway at 5:03 a.m. on Oct. 2 in reference to a theft. The complainant advised that a subject stole two cartons of Newport Cigarettes valued at approximately $139.
Criminal Damage to Vehicle
An officer was dispatched to the 2900 block of Star Pass at 11:19 p.m. on Sept. 25 in reference to criminal damage to vehicle. The complainant advised that an
unknown subject(s) damaged their vehicle by hitting it with rocks while it was parked on the street.
