Purse Stolen From Picnic Table In Stonebridge Park: Cops
A call of a stabbing at Jacob Lowell Park resulted in a battery charge against a New Lenox man.

Theft
An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Nelson Road in Stonebridge Park in reference to a theft of a purse at 1:23 p.m. on June 2. The complainant advised that their purse was stolen from a picnic table.

An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Garnet Drive at 8:16 a.m. on June 6 in reference to a theft. The complainant advised that unknown subject(s) entered on their property and stole copper wire.
Battery

Jacob K. Duffy, 24, of the 900 block of Southgate was charged with battery at 1:24 p.m. on June 2 in the 200 block of Illinois Highway. An officer was dispatched to Jacob Lowell Park in reference to a stabbing. Upon investigation it was determined that the offender, Duffy, battered two victims who sustained minor injuries.
An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a battery at 2:39 a.m. on June 3. The complainant advised that they were involved in a fight with the offenders after words were exchanged. The offenders fled prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported.
Theft
An officer was dispatched to Bluestone Bay Park in reference to a stolen bicycle at 6:32 p.m. on June 2. The complainant advised that their bicycle was stolen from the park.
Criminal Damage to Property
An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Southwind Drive at 9:02 a.m. on June 5 in reference to a criminal damage to vehicle report. The complainant advised that someone flattened the tires on their vehicle.
Criminal Damage to Vehicle
An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of Bon Terre Road at 5:08 p.m. on June 8 in reference to a criminal damage to vehicle report. The complainant advised that someone damaged a mirror on their vehicle while it was parked on the street.
Burglary to Motor Vehicle
An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Wood Street in reference to a burglary to motor vehicle complaint at 7:45 a.m. on June 6. The complainant advised that unknown(s) forced entry to their vehicle while it was parked in their drive way. Taken was a bag, money and a cell phone.
An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Wood Street in reference to a burglary to motor vehicle complaint at 4:43 p.m. on June 6. The complainant advised that unknown(s) entered their unlocked vehicle while it was parked in their drive way and stole money.
