Repeat Drunk Driver Busted In New Lenox For 3rd DUI
This man was arrested near Spencer and Constitution Roads after reports surfaced of a reckless driver.

NEW LENOX, IL - A 44-year-old man who lives on South Harlem Avenue in Berwyn is now facing more legal troubles at the Will County Courthouse as the result of his third arrest for the crime of drunken driving. Kristopher Daemon Lee was taken away in handcuffs around dinner time on Nov. 16 by the New Lenox Police Department. He has been charged with aggravated DUI.
The criminal complaint states that Lee was under the influence of alcohol while driving a Chevrolet Impala near Spencer Road. He has previous convictions for DUI from February 2004 in Cook County and April 2009 in Cook County.
New Lenox Police reports show that police officers were summoned around 5 p.m. on Nov. 16 for a reckless driver incident.

"Upon arrival, the officer met with an off duty law enforcement officer who had stopped the offending vehicle. The offending vehicle was being driven by Lee. After obtaining facts of the driver’s actions the officer met with Lee. The officer learned that Lee was driving while under the influence of alcohol," reports show.
Lee ended up in the Will County Adult Detention Facility. His bail was set at $25,000 and after spending 24 hours in custody, he posted bond on the night of Nov. 17.
