Restaurant Burglarized Before Opening: Cops
Police said someone stole kitchen equipment from the Volver Mexican Grill in New Lenox.
NEW LENOX, IL - A business that has not yet opened yet in New Lenox has already been burglarized.
Police responded to the Volver Mexican Grill in reference to a complaint of a burglary at 7:15 a.m. on Monday, April 24, according to a police report. The caller told police that someone entered the restaurant in the 700 block of E. Lincoln Highway and stole kitchen equipment and appliances.
According to previous reports, the Volver Mexican Grill is expected to open at the location in mid-May.
