Rock Thrown In Car, DUI: New Lenox Police Reports
New Lenox Police reports through July 22.
The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
July 15
- Eddie Turner, 38, of Chicago, was arrested at 7:08 a.m. at Haven Avenue and Vine Street and charged with driving while license suspended.
- Maria Polchinski, 60, of the 800 block of South Pine Street, was arrested at 7:56 p.m. at Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, for retail theft.

- Nicolas Sanderson, 26, of Chicago, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. in the 2400 block of Dundee Drive and charged with possession of burglary tools.
July 17
- Patrick Smith, 33, of Bourbonnais, was arrested at 2:15 p.m. at Cherry Hill Road and East Washington Street and charged with driving while license suspended.
- Someone cut the copper tubing to an air conditioner in the 1800 block of Orchard Lane.
July 18

- Tristan Everett, 19, of the 1900 block of Tudor Lane, was arrested at 12:54 p.m. at Speedway, 570 E. Laraway Road, and charged with retail theft.
- Someone threw a large rock through the back window of a car parked in the 1500 block of Cherrywood Lane.
July 19
- A ring wroth $1,500 was stolen from Cornerstone Jewelry, 1876 E. Lincoln Highway.
July 20
- Joshua McGovern, 25, of Braidwood, was arrested at 7:27 a.m. in the 2000 block of Laraway Road and charged with speeding and driving while license suspended.
- A backpack was stolen from an unlocked car in the 900 block of Sanctuary Drive. The backpack was found in the front yard of another home.
- Loose change was stolen from two unlocked cars in the 300 block of Arquilla Court.
July 21
- A flower pot was thrown at a window of a home in the 12900 block of Towncrest Drive. The flower pot broke the window.
- A mailbox was damaged and thrown into a nearby pond in the 800 block of Ruthenbeck Lane.
- Matthew Taylor, 23, of Lockport, was arrested at 7:37 p.m. at Haven and Warren avenues and charged with speeding, DUI-alcohol, illegal transportation of open alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
