Head coach Ben Thompson shuffled the lineup on Tuesday and senior Kelly Ruane (1st singles) won the deciding match in a 10-8 tiebreaker to give the lady Celtics a 3-2 win over Plainfield North, upping the team's record to 18-6. Sister Maggie Ruane (2nd singles) blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0 for the first point. Mary Beth Galick and Lizzie Eggen (1st doubles) easily beat their opponent as well 6-1, 6-2.
The team will host Illiana Christian for Senior Night in the final home match of the season on Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.
The Celtics will be graduating five seniors from this years squad including Angela Jensen, the Ruane twins, Eggen and Galick.
