Silver Cross Foundation to Host Oktöberfest Celebration at Solemn Oath Brewery

New Lenox, IL (Sept. 14, 2018) – The Silver Cross Foundation has partnered with Solemn Oath Brewery to host an Oktöberfest Celebration Saturday, Oct. 13, from 6 to 10 p.m. The fundraiser will be held at Solemn Oath Brewery, 1661 Quincy Ave, Unit 179, Naperville.

“Solemn Oath’s owner, John Barley, and his family have been long-time supporters of Silver Cross,” said Tracy Simons, Executive Director of the Silver Cross Foundation. “Like Silver Cross, Solemn Oath offers a unique experience with their award-winning products. By coming together, we hope to raise funds to continue advancing Silver Cross Hospital’s programs, services and facilities.”

The Oktöberfest Celebration will include German-inspired eats from the Wurst Kitchen; three 16-ounce craft Solemn Oath beers on tap, including Oktöberface (American-Style Märzen), Lü (Kölsch), and Snaggletooth Bandana (IPA); unlimited soda and water; commemorative Oktöberfest glass; a guided brewery tour and sampling; and entertainment. Individual tickets are $100. For $500, individuals and businesses can have their name proudly displayed on a Solemn Oath Beer Barrel and will receive two tickets to attend. Raffle tickets for amazing experiences including Chicago Bears and White Sox games will be sold at the event for $20.

Purchase tickets and barrel sponsorships at www.silvercross.org or by contacting the Silver Cross Foundation at (815) 300-7115. You must be 21 or older to attend, and Naperville has a three-beer limit for the event. However, participants can purchase Solemn Oath beer in bottles, cans, and growlers to take home.
