Silver Cross Foundation Invites Community to Celebrate Culture and Support Patient Care at Fall Fiesta

The Silver Cross Hospital Foundation will host its annual Fall Fiesta on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rancho Los Guzman, 2225 Maple Road in Joliet, bringing the community together for an evening of authentic cuisine, entertainment and fundraising to benefit patient care programs at Silver Cross Hospital.

Designed for guests age 21 and older, Fall Fiesta combines vibrant cultural experiences with philanthropy, raising vital funds to advance Silver Cross Hospital’s mission of providing exceptional care to the communities it serves.

This year’s event introduces exciting new interactive attractions, including a Salsa Tasting Challenge, where guests can sample 10 unique salsas ranging from mild to fiery and vote for their favorite. The winning salsa will be announced at the end of the evening. Attendees will also enjoy a Table-Side Guacamole Bar, customizing fresh guacamole with their preferred mix-ins and spice levels.

Guests will savor authentic Mexican cuisine featuring street tacos, tamales, shrimp ceviche, flautas, sweet breads and more, while enjoying a Margarita Flight Experience showcasing four distinctive flavors. The evening will also feature crowd-favorite dancing horse performances, roping demonstrations, raffle opportunities and a silent auction filled with unique items and experiences.

“Fall Fiesta has become one of our most anticipated community events because it brings people together for a fun and memorable evening while supporting the important work happening every day at Silver Cross,” said Tracy Simons, Executive Director of Fundraising for the Silver Cross Foundation. “Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured helps us continue investing in programs and services that benefit our patients and the communities we serve.”

Tickets are $60 per person and sponsorship opportunities starting at $250 are available for individuals and businesses interested in supporting the event while gaining community visibility. Several sponsorship levels include event tickets, recognition opportunities and exclusive event benefits.
