Stolen Car Found at Laraway Lanes: Cops

Criminal Damage to Property

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Haven Avenue at 10:54 p.m. on April 8 in reference to a complaint of criminal damage to property. The complainant advised that an unknown vehicle struck their fence causing damage.

An officer was dispatched to the 1600 block of Nelson Road at 5:58 p.m. on April 10 in reference to a complaint of criminal damage to property. The complainant advised that an unknown person damaged and/or removed recently planted trees.

An officer was dispatched to the 2300 block of Palmer Ranch Drive in reference to a complaint of criminal damage to property at 9:28 p.m. on April 13. The complainant advised that an unknown person damaged their garage door and a security camera.

Recovered Stolen Auto

An officer was dispatched to the Laraway Lanes at 1:36 p.m. on April 10 in reference to a parking complaint. The officer checked the unoccupied vehicle and learned that it was reported stolen from Joliet. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Joliet police and the owner of the vehicle were notified.

Vandalism

An officer was dispatched to Target in the 2300 block of E. Lincoln Highway at 9 a.m. on April 13 in reference to a complaint of vandalism. The complainant advised that someone drew graffiti on a wall of the store.
