Stolen Car Recovered: Cops
Several cans of baby formula were reported stolen from Walmart last week.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Retail Theft
An officer was dispatched to Jewel in reference to a complaint of a retail theft at 3:52 p.m. on May 12. The complainant advised that the offender took groceries from the store and exited without paying for the items.

An officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a complaint of a retail theft at 1:43 p.m. on May 14. The complainant advised that the offender took several cans of Enfamil baby formula from the store and exited without paying for the items.
Samantha E. Burdelik, 18, of the 100 block of W. Wood Street was charged with retail theft at 6:28 p.m. on May 15 at Walmart. Upon police arrival the complainant advised that Burdelik and two juveniles stole miscellaneous products from the store.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle
An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Kingston Drive in reference to a complaint of criminal damage to vehicle at 6:11 a.m. on May 15. The complainant advised that the unknown offender(s) broke a window of the vehicle which was parked on the street in front of their home.
Outstanding Warrant
Novi L. Nemeth, 36, Lockport was charged on an outstanding warrant at 4:36 p.m. on May 16 at the Route 6 Food & Fuel. An officer located Nemeth and confirmed that she had two outstanding warrants; Ogle County Warrant for Probation Violation (Retail Theft) and Livingston County Probation Violation (Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance).
Recovered Stolen Motor Vehicle
An officer was on patrol in the area of Pep Boys Auto at 3:53 p.m. on May 17 and was flagged down by an employee of Pep Boys and asked to check on a vehicle abandoned on their property. The officer checked on the vehicle and learned that it was reported stolen out of Orland Park.
