Stolen Cars, Possession Of Fraudulent ID: New Lenox Reports

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

April 29

  • Someone entered an open garage in the 700 block of Bentley Road and stole a vehicle which had the keys inside. The car was found a few hours later unoccupied in Dolton.

  • Jennyfer Loza, 23, of Bolingbrook, was charged with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 6:04 p.m. in the 300 block of West Lincoln Highway.

May 1

  • Artie Woods, 39, of Chicago, was charged with possession of fraudulent identification card at 2:06 p.m. at Lisson Grove and Wellington Court. Woods was trying to take possession of a package of two iPads from a UPS driver. Investigators located Woods on Wellington Court, and found him in possession of four fraudulent identification cards. The cards had his image with different names and addresses.

  • Someone entered an open garage in the 1800 block of Grand Prairie Drive and stole a car. The car was unlocked with a key inside.

May 3

  • A man stole an undetermined amount of liquor from Walgreens, 466 Nelson Road, and fled.
