Suspect Photo Released In Old Plank Road Trail Attack
Forest Preserve police are looking for two men who approached a woman on the trail in New Lenox on Sunday.

NEW LENOX, IL -- Forest Preserve District of Will County police have released a photo of two men suspected in a pair of incidents on Sunday on the Old Plank Road Trail in which women were accosted and grabbed.
One woman was grabbed near an entrance to a path that connects the trail to the Hickory Creek Bikeway east of Schoolhouse Road, according to Will County Forest Preserve Police. A 21-year-old woman told police that at 6:15 p.m. two white men in their early 20s approached her and one of the men grabbed her arm and waist. The woman and her dog were able to break free from the two, who left the area in a westward direction.

Another woman told Forest Preserve police that she was approached by two men matching that description near 116th and Old Plank Road Trail about an hour earlier. In that case, the suspects allegedly asked this woman the same questions as they had the woman who was grabbed.
Anyone with information about this incident or the men in the photo should call Forest Preserve District police at 815-722-5473. The photo was taken from a security camera at a business in Frankfort.
