Suspected Drug Dealer Nabbed in Sting Operation

The Joliet man attempted to sell drugs to an undercover New Lenox police officer.

A 37-year-old Joliet man suspected of drug activity in the Lincoln-way area was apprehended Wednesday while trying to hand off drugs to an undercover New Lenox police officer.

Joseph Larson, of 156 Ruby in Joliet, was arrested while he was making a delivery of 20 morphine and 17 alprazolam to an undercover cop, New Lenox police said in a release. The arrest was the result of a weeks-long investigation.

Larson was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility pending a bond hearing.
