Tampering With Vehicle, Drug Possession: New Lenox Arrests

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Aug. 12
- Ronald Morris Jr., 20, of Chicago Heights, was arrested at 9:59 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Retail Drive and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

- Noah Clayton, 20, of Park Forest, was arrested at 5:56 p.m. at LA Fitness, 2431 E. Lincoln Highway, and charged with theft after stealing a cell phone from a gym bag.
Aug. 14
- Danya Williams, 34, of the 700 block of Bittersweet Lanes, was arrested at 2:35 a.m. at Marley Road and Bittersweet Lane and charged with DUI-alcohol.
- Glenn Lindsey, 26, of Dolton, was arrested at 10:50 a.m. in the 1800 block of West Lincoln Highway and charged with driving while license revoked.

- Matthew Barski, 25, of Crest Hill, was arrested at 8:28 a.m. at Nelson Road and Joliet Highway and charged with driving while license suspended. Barski also had an outstanding warrant from Will County.
Aug. 17
- Two people stole two hover boards from Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway. The value of the boards was $500.
- Leon Wilson Jr., 46, of Bartlett, was arrested at 2:39 a.m. in the 1300 block of Grandview Drive and charged with unlawful tampering with a vehicle. Witnesses saw Wilson attempting to enter car doors.
- One of the boards were removed and a window was broken at the old Kmart building, 1500 W. Lincoln Highway.
