Triple Play Concert Series Opens This Weekend

Night Ranger and the Ides of March kick off the 2012 festivities Saturday night. Get all the information you need for the show.

New Lenox's annual Triple Play Concert Series opens this weekend with Night Ranger headlining the show. 

We've got all of the information you need: what to bring, who's opening and how to get last-minute tickets.

Concert info: The concert is Saturday, June 2, at the . Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Lineup: Night Ranger is the headliner and will play closer to 8 or 9 p.m. The opening bands are Peace Museum, going on at about 5:45 p.m., and Ides of March, featuring Jim Peterik, close to 7:15. Not familiar with the bands? Check out their websites:

Still need tickets? Tickets are on sale for $60, which gets you admission to not only the Night Ranger concert but also Heart in July and Styx in September. They must be purchased at , 1 Veterans Pkwy.

If there are any unsold tickets by Saturday, single-day passes to the Night Ranger show will be on sale for $20. 

Shuttle service: Free bus shuttle from the Metra lot on Route 30 to and from the event will be provided. 

Weather: According to the WeatherBug service, the high temperature for Saturday is 69 degrees, with a low of 54 degrees. There's a 30 percent chance of rain in the afternoon, but the clouds should begin to clear during the evening. More information here

Food/drinks: No coolers, food or outside beverages are allowed inside the park. Ten local restaurants will sell a variety of food. Beverages, including beer, wine, wine coolers, water and pop will be available for purchase as well. No alcohol is allowed to leave the Village Commons after the concerts.
