Village Begins Storm-Related Branch Pick-Up

The Village has been opening roadways and clearing debris in right-of-way blocking driveways since Monday's storms.

To Our Village Residents:

Thank you for your patience over the past 24 hours. During this time, we have been overwhelmed with calls. If your call is not answered due to call volume, please know that we are out clearing debris from the Village’s streets. Our main focus has been on opening roadways and clearing debris in the right-of-way blocking driveways. With this task substantially completed, we will shift our focus to:

  1. Identifying and removing broken or damaged limbs around the roadway and right-of-way;
  2. Removing fallen trees from around fire hydrants; and
  3. Perform branch and tree removal in Village rights-of-way.

There are damaged trees that are beyond our staff’s and equipment’s capabilities to remove; these areas will be barricaded or otherwise blocked off and the tree will be removed as soon as a contractor is available.

Please note that our branch pick program will be delayed. We will perform this service at the end of the storm clean-up which may take a couple of weeks.
