Village Limits Water Use During Heat Wave
Until further notice, communities that use the Southwest Water System will only be allowed to water lawns during the morning.

Until further notice, the village is limiting outdoor water use during evening hours.
Because of the extremely high temperatures this week, New Lenox and other surrounding communities that use the Southwest Water System are only allowing residents to water lawns or use sprinklers from 7-11 a.m. The change is effective today.
Between May 15 and Sept. 15, lawn watering and sprinkling in New Lenox is permitted on an even/odd basis, and that remains in effect. On calendar days with odd numbers, people with odd-numbered addresses may water their lawns, and people in even-numbered homes may water theirs on even-numbered calendar days.
