Vitas Innovative Hospice OPEN HOUSE

Thank you all for joining us last week Thursday as we celebrated the official opening of the VITAS Silver Cross Hospital VITAS office. We are very excited to open this new office in our community. As you may know, VITAS has been a pioneer and leader in the hospice movement since 1978 and is the nation's leading provider of end-of-life care. Our company’s leadership and innovation have set the standard for hospice care and provided much-needed services to patients and their families, giving people choice and dignity during one of the most critical moments of life: the end of life. We are proud of our leadership and growth, because it is based on the fact that patients and their families as well as the medical community choose VITAS based on the exceptional care and services we provide. We have a greater than 96 percent satisfaction rating from the patients and families we serve. These are significant achievements, and none of it could be possible without our outstanding team of staff members and caregivers. VITAS currently has 51 hospice programs nationally and here in Chicago South, we are proud to serve patients and their families in Tinley Park, Lombard, Huntley, Chicago, LaSalle, Peoria, and now New Lenox. We have two Inpatient Hospice Units located in Chicago and Chicago Heights. We are proud of our relationship with Silver Cross Hospital and it gives us great pride to further our commitment to Silver Cross in end-of-life care and to the community we serve with the opening of our new office. Indeed, with support of professionals like these as well as the communities we serve, we are achieving our mission to ensure everyone who qualifies for hospice care can access this important service. And this new office is an important part of that mission. VITAS is truly honored to be a part of the New Lenox community and offer our high-quality services. We appreciate this opportunity to celebrate with the community our ceremonial ribbon cutting. Thank You
