Wanted Man Gets Upset at Silver Cross Hospital, Pops Security Guard and Goes to Jail: Cops

The wanted man was taken from the hospital to the jail.

A wanted man drew attention to himself at Silver Cross Hospital when he struck a security guard, police said.

Marc Mitok 45, was at Silver Cross when he “became upset and needed to be escorted from the building by security” late Monday night, police said.

A police officer was reportedly told that “Mitok was at the hospital and referred to another facility for the treatment he desired.”

That was when Mitok allegedly became upset.

The cops were called and Mitok was hauled off to the Will County jail when it turned out he had a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was for a charge of criminal trespass to a vehicle, according to jail records.

Mitok, who the police listed as a Joliet resident but county records say is from Channahon, remains in custody.
