CANCELED: Young Rembrandts Drawing Event In New Lenox

Young Rembrandts, a childhood art education program, will host a free drawing event at Beggar's Pizza, 650 Route 30, in New Lenox. You can be of any age and attend the event, where attendees will create drawings to send to active military members, a release from the organization says.
The event will be hosted at 6 p.m. April 13. Young Rembrandts of Chicago's Southwest Suburbs will host the event at Beggar's Pizza, and no drawing experience is necessary.

According to a release, the event will be facilitated by Tess Gutkowski, owner of Young Rembrandts Chicago’s Southwest Suburbs. She will demonstrate the a step-by-step drawing process while participants draw with her. Family members are required to stay and sit side-by-side with their children at the event.
All drawings will be gathered and sent in care packages to active U.S. military members around the world, a release states. There will also be a raffle and complimentary pizza from Beggar's Pizza.
