Low Vision Fair Headed to Senior Center

Attend the 2017 Low Vision Fair on May 12 from 1-4PM to learn more about limited or low vision.

Learn about topics related to limited or low vision through a keynote speaker, products, and services available to individuals through the variety of vendors and public organizations that will be on-site for the event.

Diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma screening will also be available at the event. Come to the 2017 Low Vision Fair at the The East Wing, Glenview Senior Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave., Glenview, on Friday, May 12, from 1-4PM. This event is free and open to everyone. No registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.

1-4PM: Vendors and testing

  • Screenings:
    • Glaucoma screening provided by North Shore Eye and Vision Center
    • Diabetic retinopathy screening, sponsored by the Park Ridge Lions Club
  • Vendors related to assisting individuals with limited vision
  • Supportive public service agencies that support individuals with limited vision

1:30PM: Keynote speaker: Dr. Avjit Shahi, O.D., Boyce Family Eye Care
