• Evanston Rollover Traps Driver Under Car, Shuts Sherman Avenue Near Simpson (newsbreak.com) — A serious rollover crash in Evanston drew a regional emergency response that included a Niles Police Department vehicle through the shared Major Crash Assistance Team. While the injured driver was freed and taken to Evanston Hospital, investigators from Niles and other nearby suburbs are helping reconstruct what happened as part of a northern Illinois task force.
