Better Government Association Releases Public Pension Database

The Better Government Association (BGA) has come through again on shedding light where before there was none.  The BGA has now released its 2012 Public Pension Database.  This is the new companion to its Public Payroll Database.

Please remember the idea is to provide citizens access to how their tax dollars are spent and not to embarrass or harass public employees.  Having said that, why not check to see how many of your elected officials (local and state) have multiple government jobs, and don't forget about their families.  Be savvy on how you search. Things that are kept undercover and quiet do not reveal themselves easily.
