Some random thoughts to consider...

Why did the greatest country in the world fall?

1. Decadence: -decay of morals. New generations had no respect for their elders - nor did they have manners. The decay of society -the family eroded. Men lusting after men and women for women became"normal."

2. Monetary troubles: The collapse of the currency. Their currency became worth less and less. There was massive inflation. Idioti*and wasteful spending got out of control. Widespread  financial stress and the masses desiring too much.

3. Military problems: The army*spread itself too thin. It was trying to conquer the world. It had bases in all the known world. It was trying to police the entire
known world instead of taking care of home.

4. Infusion of new peoples: Mass migration of other cultures into the homeland - multicultural diversity coming in, wanting what they had. So they let them in. Most came in illegally at first, then they just let them in.

5. Disunity in the leaders and people: Fighting among themselves. The country was split about 50/50 on their thinking. Endless fighting among the senate and politicians of the day.

 
6. Most of the country had been obsessed with sports and seeing
their heroes play in the big arenas. The country was falling apart, but they
were more concerned with their sports heroes. They had become a country of
Hedonists.


7. Most citizens had become wimps, whiners and victims.
The widespread concern for their entertainment and sports, who'll win what, who
won what and who competes next, had become their main focus.

This  mightiest country in the world was Rome.
