A resident of the 9400 block of Normandy reported on March 14 that someone opened up a Verizon account in North Carolina using their information.
ARRESTS
Annette Moen, 37, of the 2000 block of North Oak Park Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on March 6 in the 6400 block of Dempster Street and charged with theft following an investigation in which she allegedly stole from her previous employer since 2016.
Perry O. Crawford, 39, of the 7300 block of North Oketo Avenue, Chicago, was arrested on March 6 near the intersection of Waukegan and Golf roads and charged with driving under the influence and hit-and-run following a traffic crash. Police witnessed him crash into another can and flee the scene. Cops tried to pull him over, but he initially refused to stop. Eventually, he struck a cub and pulled into a parking lot. The officer smelled booze on his break, he refused to perform sobriety tests and he was arrested.
Milton K. Thomas, 51, of the 1500 block of Home Avenue in Berwyn, was arrested on March 7 in the 8500 block of Fernald Avenue and charged with forgery and theft following an investigation into unspecified incidents.
A 25-year-old Addison woman was arrested on March 9 near the intersection of Golf and Harms and charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
A 58-year-old Melrose Park woman was arrested on March 13 and charged with driving without a valid license following a traffic stop near the intersection of Dempster Street and Austin Avenue .
A 59-year-old Evanston man was arrested on March 13 and charged with driving while license revoked following a traffic stop near the intersection of Waukegan Road and Church Street.
Brenda Ayala, 25, of the 6700 block of Vail Drive in Westmont, was arrested on March 15 at Comcast's store in the 7900 block of Golf Road and charged with identity theft after allegedly making three unauthorized using someone's credit card information.
A 20-year-old Skokie woman was arrested on March 17 and charged with driving without a valid license following a traffic stop near the intersection of Dempster Street and Austin Avenue.
A 30-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested on March 18 and charged with driving while license revoked following a traffic stop near the intersection of Dempster Street and Shermer Road.
