Crowd Gathers To Discuss Future Of Morton Grove Farmers Market

MORTON GROVE, IL -- A discussion of the future of the Morton Grove Farmers Market drew a large crowd to Village Hall on Thursday night. Several people came to a meeting to share their ideas, thoughts and visions for the future of the Farmers Market, the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce wrote in an email blast Friday.

"The room was filled with people from all over the village. east and west side residents, from the schools, churches, village, park district library and chamber of commerce and market vendors," the Chamber wrote.

"A lot to think about as the market moves forward."

The Chamber also welcomes residents to attend its Winter Market, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Morton Grove Civic Center during the Holly Days Festival.
