Niles Notre Dame Don students form a "W" to salute the Chicago Cubs

[Niles, IL - 10/7/2016] The students, faculty and staff of Notre Dame College Prep formed a "W" on the afternoon of October 7, 2016 to salute the Chicago Cubs who began the National League Division Series at home against the San Francisco Giants that evening. The Cubs defeated the Giants 1-0.

In all, 900 people gathered to form the "W" at Legends Field on the campus of Notre Dame College Prep at 7655 West Dempster Street in Niles, Illinois. NDCP is a college preparatory high school for young men from around the Chicagoland area. The students are known as the "Dons of Notre Dame" which mean "Gentlemen of Mary," the mother of Jesus Christ.
