Bossy Dog Band

Bossydog is more than just a band - it's an attitude. It was born from the need
to break from the same boring, dull band routines. This group aims to provide
music that every member of the family can appreciate and enjoy - and we hope to
keep your toes tapping too! What genere do we play? you may ask. We play it all!
Everything from rock to soul, from the 50's to the present. We hope you'll come
check us out - just remember to bring your dancin' shoes!

Bob Pila: Born
on the 4th of July, Bob hails from the Chicago area. He has been performing in
bands since his high school days. In 1999 Bob founded the band "Idle Time." He
co-wrote most of the original songs on the CD with the band's lead guitarist. He
has performed professionally in the Chicago area, most recently as the drummer
for the popular band Roy And The Orbitz. Bob's musical styles are diverse; he
has played everything from Reggae to Rhythm and Blues. With Bossydog, he
provides pro background vocals and a rock-solid groove. Bob's stylistic
versatility, experience, and varied musical influence allow him to get inside of
a sond with a fresh energy that's lively, original, and true to the vision of
the band.

Wayne Beal has been around the Dog Pound a time or two. In his
27 years(and that's not Dog years, mind you) he's howled and run with such rock
bands as BAD INFLUENCE, THE BEAL BROS. BAND, J.S. BOX, THE RELAY, HARVEST,
NORTHERN LIGHTS and THE CHICAGO TIMES (with fellow Dogs Ron & Juan). He
howled and played bass for the country group STEEL BREEZE (with Ron) and in the
tropical rock band PEACH'S BEACH PARTY(with fellow Dogs Bob, Ron & Juan).
Wayne says his favorite music is "anything that makes you move and has a groove.
If you just want ballads, you're barkin' up the tree, Dog."

Ron Piech: I
guess my music career started back in the summer of 1967 with two friends. Our
big gigs were friends' parties and the big one - the church pancake breakfast!
By the summer of '69' (just like the song) we were a 5 piece band and graduated
to weddings and bar mitzvahs. That summer we went into a studio and recorded our
big hit PRETEND & JUST ME AND YOU, and then moved up to high school dances.
No, it's not a gold record; it's black. I think we sold a whopping 800 copies
(maybe). We started playing clubs at the age of 16. Well, since then I've earned
a B.A. in Music Education. I've learned to play multiple instruments and have
played in all different types of bands: jazz, rock, country, folk. My love for
music has no boundaries. Now Bossydog. Hope to see you out at our gigs soon, Ron
Piech

Tom Frentzel was born and raised in Wisconsin. He moved to the
suburbs of Chicago in 1976 and soon after began his musical career playing
guitar and bass. As a founding member of the country rock group Deadwood
Express, Tom played the Chicago area and southern Wisconsin until 1986. For the
next fifteen years he played in various classic rock groups, performing at local
festivals, clubs, and special events. In 2004 he teamed up with Mark Inlow to
form the group Roy and the Orbitz. Tom's steady guitar playing and vocals
compliment the band's unique sound, and his addition of synthesizer gives the
songs the finishing touch that would make Roy Orbison proud.
